EMI Shielding

SolidWEAVE metal wire meshes are incorporated in various applications to shield against electromagnetic radiation (EMI shielding, "electro-smog"). The application areas range from optical components for shielding to the electromagnetic shielding of equipment, as well as rooms and buildings.

High Optical Transparency, Attenuation Values and Precision

GKD shielding meshes are characterized in particular by:

high optical transparency
high attenuation values (shielding effectiveness > 40 dB)
a precise mesh structure for uniform appearance

Optically Neutral, Large-Format Elements, Object-Oriented Production

SolidWEAVE shielding meshes for optical applications are coated in black so that the reflection effect is constrained to a minimum and optical neutrality is guaranteed. The mesh widths are available up to 2 m. This makes the production of large-format elements possible.

For construction work, robust meshes made of stainless steel or nonferrous metals are available in standard widths up to 3 m, with high availability from stock. Object-oriented customer-specific productions in larger widths are available at any time.
