Pressing on prepresses

CONDUCTO® ventilation belts are used in prepresses for the manufacture of MDF boards and chip boards without electrostatic charging.

The safety feature of the CONDUCTO® ventilation belt is visible: Bronze wires in the running direction permanently prevent electrostatic charging and adhesion of particles to the belt in the prepress and damage to belt and product as a result. Reliable discharging in compliance with the Atex Norm Class 3 minimizes fire hazard as well.

In contrast to belt structures with graphite-filled monofilaments, the bronze wires retain their full conductive capacity even in 24/7 use. The smooth polyester mesh is also convincing in terms of its high air permeability and robust flexibility.
