Pressing with short-cycle presses / steam presses

FLEXOPLAN® process belts are used for the manufacture of OSB boards. Boards with a final thickness of up to 15 cm, as is required, for example, in the production of OSB beams for wall and ceiling construction, require high press performance. They can be supplied up to a maximum length of 160 meters with a width of up to four meters.

For use in stationarily operating steam presses, GKD produces process belts up to 70 m long or top screens up to 20 m long in FLEXOPLAN® quality.

FLEXOPLAN® 163 Special mesh is primarily used for pressing and embossing OSB boards.

Hook seam or soldered seam, installation by GKD experts

By request and as required, process belts for short-cycle presses can be produced with a sophisticated hook seam or open with a prepared soldered seam. This is expertly installed by our service staff after delivery.
