Seams for Process Belts
Before a process belt can be made from a GKD mesh, the two mesh ends have to be connected. This connection is specific to the mesh and geared to the particular process. Requirements imposed on the seam connection by the various applications are:
- flexible
- non-marking
- temperature-resistant
- robust
- stretchproof
- chemical-resistant
- durable
- fine
Easy to seal and secure during the process
We pay a great deal of attention to the practicability of our seams. Any end user can seal the seam connection quickly and easily.
Installation service and support
In the case of special seams, e.g. soldered seams in the metal belt segment, seam sealing is performed by our installers. With respect to the initial startup of large belt systems, we are pleased to be able to support our customers with the initial installation of the belt.
